Antique sterling silver oval locket featuring a soldered on element featuring a horseshoe and a hunting whip with a horse leg stock. Dating to 1880-1890s, this locket was purchased from England and features British silver hallmarks.
This locket is ready for your horsehair and photograph! It has been cleaned, repaired, and outfitted with glass on both sides and an external closure system added for extra security.
This locket does display minor scratching and wear consistent with age. Antique lockets may contain nickel.
Locket Box Measurements: Approximately 20mm long, 17mm wide, and 4.5mm deep.
Price of locket includes hairwork, photograph, and your choice of chain. Chain options include 16,18 or 20 inch rope or rounded box chain. Please make a note on your order of what chain you'd like.
