Placing An Order

Before placing an order, you have read the item description and have viewed the customization list to get an idea of the final cost of your item. Prices listed are DEPOSITS and additional charges may apply.  With me providing a semi-custom experience for every keepsake, I cannot list pricing for every scenario that is possible, however I do my best to be transparent and provide a estimate guide for some basic options. View the Customization List. 

Definitions: Base price: that is the final price of the item with no additional customizations. Deposit: There will be additional metal charges. 

How Orders Work/Cancelation Policy 

When you place an order, you have placed a deposit, unless it says base price. Additional charges may apply for fluctuating metal costs and any personalization you decide to add engraving, stones etc. Please read item descriptions for final keepsake cost estimates and important info.  

When I am close to starting your keepsake, I will send you an email with personalization options and a request to ship your hair. Please do not ship hair until you are requested to do so.

If you decide to cancel your order, you have 7 business days to request a full refund.After seven business days, you are locked into the creation schedule and will receive an email from me when it is time to start your keepsake and request you ship your hair. 

If this email goes to your spam folder, and I don't hear from you by the first of the following month you will be given a courtesy phone call to check your email. 

If after this courtesy call there is no contact from you, about your keepsake, you forfeit your deposit and it is up to you to remember to reach out about your keepsake. 

To keep my work process flowing and efficient it is up to the responsibility of the purchaser to respond to emails, calls, invoices and remember to ship hair promptly when requested. 

Process/Cancelation policy is at the discretion of the artist and is subject to change. 

Turnaround Time 

I am currently working on orders that were placed in April 2026. 

My turnaround time can be as little as 2 months or as much as 8 months, it just depends on the number of orders in line. By placing an order with me you receive a semi-custom individual, trusting experience and that takes time. Please be patient. Once you place an order, rest assured you have been put into the queue and you will be contacted once I am close to starting your order. Please do not ship your hair until I contact you. 

International Orders

I do offer USPS Priority International shipping or UPS World Wide Shipping. The purchaser is responsible for the price of international shipping and any taxes or import/export fees that are incurred during international shipping. 

**You must wash your hair before shipping and need to obtain from me a USDA letter that will help facilitate shipping your hair through US Customs. You will receive detailed instructions when you receive your "Ready to Start" email. 

Items Are Made To Order- Sizing

All items are nonrefundable. For rings and bracelets you will be sent a sizing kit that you will send back with your hair. (Domestic Orders.) International orders will be given different instructions. 

Braided Bracelets can be made smaller, but they cannot be made much bigger. If they need to be made bigger, you will have to purchase a new bracelet and have it remade. 

Jennifer Metesh Studios is not responsible for shipping to and from the studio if sizing adjustments or repairs due to hard wear need to be made. 

Repairs

Hair is a natural fiber and I strive to make keepsakes that protect the hair, however in some keepsakes the hair is exposed and can be naturally worn with rough treatment or constant wet/dry cycles.  Please keep a small bit of hair, just incase the hair gets worn and needs to be re-done. The braid can be replaced for a re-braiding fee. 

Other repairs can be completed as needed. Please email with repair requests.
